Quality assurance professionals work with business managers and clients to develop policies, procedures, and programs to ensure the quality of manufactured products. QC specialists are responsible for employees' day-to-day adherence to quality programs. In Web companies and software firms, quality assurance specialists diagnose problems, recommend solutions, and determine if program requirements have been met.
